Daywise Itinerary

1. Day 1 Guwahati

   On your arrival meet our representative and drive towards hotel. Check into room.

   Later we shall go for an hour cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River.

   Overnight at hotel

   Note: River cruise is subjected to river conditions and availability.

2. Day 2 Guwahati – Manas National Park (180 kms/3 ½ hrs)

   This morning, we set off towards Manas National Park located on the foothills of the Bhutan.

   Manas National Park – Lying down on the Himalayan foothills in the state of Assam, a UNESCO Heritage site, an Elephant reserve and a project Tiger Reserve. If not enough, it has also been recognized as an important Biosphere Reserve. This beautiful paradise has been pampered by visitors due to its rich flora and fauna. The park hosts wildlife species like Golden Langur, Pygmy Hog, Hispid Hare, Assam Roofed Turtle, Wild Water Buffaloes, etc. and several varieties of bird species.

   On arrival check into resort.

   After we shall for a jeep safari. Return to resort by dusk.

   Overnight at hotel.

3. Day 3 Manas National Park

   Early morning we shall go for an Elephant ride.

   Mid morning visit nearby tea garden, try and spot some of the migratory birds, later walk through the village inhabited by Bodo tribe.

   Afternoon explore the park on jeep.

   Return to lodge by dusk.

   Overnight at hotel

4. Day 4 Manas National Park

   This morning we shall go a jeep safari inside the park.

   Afternoon followed by another jeep safari.

   Overnight at hotel

5. Day 5 Manas National Park – Nameri National Park (280 kms / 6 hrs)

   Check out from hotel and then drive towards Nameri National Park.

   Nameri National Park – Gateway for nature lovers & a beautiful place located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Total area of the park is about 137 Km2.  The habitat of Nameri is made up of tropical evergreen, Semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests with cane and bamboo brakes and narrow strips of open grassland along rivers. Grassland comprise of less than 10% of the total area of the park while the semi-evergreen and moist deciduous species dominate the area. The JiaBhareli River flows along the park’s western and southern boundaries.

   Overnight in Hotel/Camp

6. Day 6 Nameri National Park

   Early morning we shall go a jungle walk through thick jungle and dry riverbeds, accompanied by a forest guard, offers you to witness the wildlife and birding life finding their way into an ever-expanding checklist. Nameri's most important avian residents are the White-winged Ducks. Return to Eco Camp for breakfast, later we shall go for a rafting in the gentle rapids of the JiaBhoroliriver.

   River-rafting is a popular and pleasant way to see birds like Ibisbill and Long-billed Plover. The river rafting is allowed in south east of the park on river. The rafting usually starts 13 kms. upstream and takes about 3 hours to complete without halts.

   Overnight stay at Eco Camp.

7. Day 7 Nameri National Park – Kaziranga National Park (80 kms/2 hrs)

   This morning we set off towards Kaziranga National Park – the home of the world famed one horned Rhinos.

   Kaziranga National Park a world heritage site is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. It has been declared as National Park in 1974. Kaziranga National Park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by a human presence. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.

   Check into resort.  Later go for a jeep safari in the Central range of the park.

   Overnight at hotel.

8. Day 8 Kaziranga National Park

   Early morning we shall go for an elephant ride - Elephant ride is the best way to behold the vigour and charm of the enchanting wildlife of the park. Return to resort for your breakfast. Mid morning explore a village inhabited by Mishing tribe and Kaziranga Orchid center. Afternoon go for a jeep safari in the Western range of the park.

9. Day 9 Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati (250 kms/4 hrs)

   This morning transfer to Guwahati airport for your onward journey.
