Morning go for city sightseeing starting your day by visiting Kamakhya Temple – a majestic temple of the state. This temple is located in the Nilachal hills and one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Umananda Temple – Shiva temple located on the Peacock Island, in the middle of river Brahmaputra. Peacock Island, which houses the Umanada Temple, is known as smallest inhabited Riverine Island in the world. Visit Nabagarha Temple the temple of the nine celestial bodies, is situated on a hill named Chitrachal. It is also known as the abode of one of the most important celestial bodies, the sun. The temple which is in existence at present was built by the King Rajesvar Singha in 1752 A.D. The garbhagriha or the inner quarter of the temple survived the earthquake, while the upper portion was rebuilt with corrugated iron sheets. Our lunch will be in a traditional Assam restaurant. Later visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra – an Assamese culture museum name after the medieval poet – play writer and reformer Sri Sankardev.
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 16 days to prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
- 15 days to 01 days prior to arrival or no show – 100% of the tour/service cost.
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
