Day 1 - Drive Darjeeling – Maneybhanjang & Trek to Tumling
After Breakfast drive to Maneybhanjang.
The starting point of the trek, Maneybhanjang is 26 kms from Darjeeling and situated on the border between India and Nepal. Maneybhanjang has a local market so in case you have forgotten something, this is the last chance of getting it. From grocery to medicines to camera rolls, everything is available here.
Begin trek to Tumling which is steep and on a zigzag trail. Lunch at Lameydhura
The trek from Manebhanjang to Tumling covering 11 kms(5 hrs) is steep up. A peak on Singalila Range, at an altitude of 10,000 approx. feet high.
Dinner &Overnight at Basic Lodge
If Clients wants Camping instead of staying at the lodges in that case camping is possible at Tonglu not at Tumling so the itinerary is as follows.
Day 2 - Drive Darjeeling-Maneybhanjang& Trek to Tonglu
Maneybhanjang Altitude 2134 m, Tonglu Altitude 3078 m. Early morning enjoy the unforgettable sunrise on the Majestic Kanchenjungha Range from the nearest view point. After Breakfast your trek will start from here through a deep forest and beautiful rhododendron trees welcome you to enter into next place called Tonglu. The Distance from Dhotrey to Tonglu is 6 kms& takes 2.5 hour. Tonglu is located at an altitude of 3078 m. On a clear day, you get magnificent views of Kanchenjunga snow peaks from Tonglu. And if the sky is clear blue, you can even see Mt. Everest.Lunch at Lameydhura. Dinner & Camping at Tonglu
Day 3 - Tumling or Tonglu to Sandakphu

After breakfast begin trek to Sandakphu via Gairibas/Kalpokhri 22 Kms/8-9 hour
From Tumling/Tonglu, the trail descends to Giribas before steep climb to Kalpokhari and to Sandakphu. The trail passes through bamboo groves and rhododendron forest which is home to the rare Red Panda and the Tragopan. Lunch at Kaiyakatta
Situated to the north west of Darjeeling on the Singalila range at an altitude of 3636 mts(1200ft.) above sea level, Sandakphu is the highest spot in Darjeeling district and is one of the most popular trekking routes in the Himalayan area. One has to pass the temperate forest of rhododendron and magnolias to reach the top of Singalila range .In terms of scenic beauty, it offers you most fantastic views of snowy range from Mt. Everest in Nepal, to the Kanchandzonga in Sikkim and chomolari in Bhutan. Apart from Rhododrendron and magnolias, numerous varieties of magnolias, primulas, orchids and ferns are found in bloom during the month of march and April. Mount Everest is 144 Kames from here as crow flies and Kanchendzonga is only 44 Kms. the view of Sun Rise and Sun set over the mountains is just magnificient that one can not afford to miss it. The name of Sandakphu means the hill of the poison plant, and has been given to this peak, because the poison plant “Acconite” grows thickly for some distance below the pick known by this name. Day 4 - Sandakphu–Sepi (1915 m)
After breakfast begin last day of trek to Sepi (18kms / 7-8 hrs) andpassing throughFarmland. Lunch at Gurdum. Arrive Sepi & drive to Darjeeling 76 Kms/4.5 hrs
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
16 days to prior to arrival - 50% of the tour/service cost.
15 days to 01 days prior to arrival or no show - 100% of the tour/service cost.
Please note - Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs - in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us - a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
