TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PACKAGE BOOKING
- Thank you for booking your tour package from Paradise Unexplored. You are requested to kindly understand and abide by following terms and conditions:
- By giving an advance deposit or by signing the Terms & Conditions or even by accepting the itinerary a contract is formulated between the Client and the Company, authorizing Company to hold space for you in groups which are schedule to travel on a specific date and a space is also reserved for you in Airlines, Hotels and Coaches. If there is any change in your plan and your request for cancellation, shall be subject to our cancellation policy.
- The tour is operated subject to a minimum of 20 passengers being booked together. No tour guide/Escort accompanies our groups from India to aboard & back to India.
- Your Tour to destination Japan /Korea / Europe or/and UK require/s the issuance of Visa by the concerned embassy or VFS centre. Usually15 days are required for the processing of the each, Japan / Korea / Schengen/ UK Visa from the date of submission of visa application with documents, as the case may be. However embassy can take lesser or Higher time to process the application.
- Despite getting successful visa and/or boarding pass there could be the possibility of denial of entry or deportation, as the final authority for admittance is vested with the immigration authorities of the country of arrival. Further in the case of Visa being withheld, refusal of visa or delay in obtaining the visa, the consequences arising there from shall be borne by the travelling person and under no circumstances shall Paradise Unexplored be held liable for the same.
- You must provide the requisite Documents for Visa Application within 03 days of booking the package to enable usto facilitate you for visa application, which is to be carried out within 21 - 60 clear working days prior to date of travel and depending upon number of visas applied for. This adherence to the time schedule is necessary as prior to visa facilitation documents are to be scrutinised and sequentially arranged.
- Jain Meal provision is available on prior request only during Dinner at Indian restaurant.
- Most of the Hotels in Japan and South Korea have twin Beds in the Room.
- In the event of non-availability of the mentioned hotel/s in tentative itinerary, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel. The hotel named in the service voucher shall be final.
- Selection of seats in Airline is subject to availability and is at the sole discretion of the airlines. Please be advised that the airline may levy additional charges for seat selection.
- All transfers & tours are based on shared basis / Joint basis (Seat-in-Coach) and the Tour is operated in a group. One may have to wait intermittently for transfers especially for pick-up and dropping as transfers services are used for other group tourists too.
- Above tour prices are subject to change in the event of increase in hotel room rates levy by the hotel especially during peak season/holiday surcharge and major events/fairs and convention. Further, any increase in the rate of exchange of forex leading to an increase in cost of surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure, the cost price of the tour will be subject to increase without notice.
- Please be advised that the provided itinerary is tentative and can be changed/swapped/rerouted/curtailed by the local ground operator in order to ensure that the ticketed tour components are not missed and to meet tour operational challenges in the larger interest in the event of any exigency. The time schedule fixed by the local tour operator should be strictly adhered to. For any inconvenience, loss or consequence suffered due to tourist’s failure to keep the local tour operators timings, the tourist alone would be responsible. Please also note that unlike in the case of individual tailor- made tour packages; you might have to adjust timings for the sake of general member of your tour group. Accordingly, you are advised not to fix your own individual programme at all, since the itinerary may be subject to change without prior notice.
- Every effort is made to operate the tours as mentioned in the handouts. However, Hotels / Flights / Itinerary and Route etc are subject to change without notice, and no compensation will be paid for any such changes that may be operationally required.
- Traveller must be in possession of requisite number of Entries Visa/s. Some Consulates / Embassies may require you to appear for a personal interview, which you will have to necessarily attend.
- In case of triple sharing, the 3rd person sharing the room is provided with an additional mattress or a rollaway bed. As per prevailing norms a maximum of 3 persons are allowed in one room.
- It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry during tour, valid travel documents including passport. Your passport must have a validity for a period of at least six months beyond the intended date of travel with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property/baggage for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation / vaccination certificates as the case may be, to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
- The Travel Program Voucher(s) along with air-tickets and other travel documents would be handed over to you 2-4 days prior to the departure, subject to the payment of full tour cost, including foreign exchange difference component, having been paid 30 days prior to the departure of the tour and adherence to the cooperation sought for processing the booking.
- If the booking is accepted less than 30 days prior to departure date, you shall make full payment of the tour cost including foreign exchange difference component at the time of acceptance of the booking.
- It is entirely your responsibility to check the Travel Program Voucher(s)/ Tickets/ Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
- Tour cancellation charges shall be as per the Cancellation Terms mentioned in this document.
- All driving distances mentioned, if any, are tentative and subject to the prevailing traffic conditions at the time of actual travel.
- This tour being offered is at the budget provided for. You can opt for higher value tour components at much higher rates. You may explore about the same with our Sales Executive.
- The purpose of the itinerary is to cover the events / places mentioned therein. City tours are drive-through the city, with a few photo stops. Non-ticketed tour component during city tours may be skipped due to time constraints, if necessary to cover the ticketed tour components, and in that case no compensation shall be given for skipped tour component/s. Non-ticketed means where there is no entry fee payable, for example beaches or other public areas.
- Hotels are located at the outskirts or near surrounding towns, connected with the main city through limited means of transfers, which involves taking a long drive between the hotel and main city. There are no choices for hotels as we have to arrange hotel accommodation taking into consideration the whole itinerary within the given budget. Hotels do not have air-conditioned rooms due to prevailing climatic conditions. In some places, if air cooled rooms are available it will be for a limited duration in the whole calendar year, and subject to some limitations imposed by local regulations.
- If you are a senior citizen or/and differently abled person, or a person with special needs, then you must not venture at all as tours are operated without any attendant to provide any kind of special support or individual assistance during the tour. There will be no medical assistance and in event of any requirement one has to depend upon the local facilities at his/her own handling and expenses. We therefore advise you to carry sufficient contingency funds. It is mandatory to have Travel Insurance with the requisite medical insurance cover along with overseas contact phone numbers, which are available through various sim providing companies for better connectivity.
- PAN Card Number, Aadhaar Card and also a valid email id is necessary to initiate the booking. Apart from this, your full cooperation for KYC (Know Your Customer) is mandatory. No cash payment will be accepted in violation of government guidelines and without disclosure of its source.
- Processing charges are applicable at 5% of the package cost if the booking is withdrawn before the booking reference number is communicated from our end. Thereafter cancellation charges are applicable as per terms & conditions of booking mentioned in the itinerary/handout/email communication.
- Most hotels worldwide & Cruise vendors, require the payment of a Security Deposit at the time of check-in by the tourist. This is a refundable deposit against any incidental expenses that you may incur, and this amount is refunded at the time of check-out after adjusting any dues that you may incur during the stay. The said deposit amount does not form a part of the package cost. The deposit is collected in cash (Local currency) or by credit card, as the case may be. This amount may vary from hotel to hotel. For exact amount etc. please visit the official hotel website or make specific enquiry to the sales-person.
- Weather & Technical Delays Advisory – Paradise Unexplored. will not be liable to any passenger for refund, compensation or claim for shortage of tour days shown in tour itinerary or any cancellation, route change or postponement or delay of any tour of any airlines due to any reason including fog or bad weather and the tickets are issued to the above condition also. Kindly be advised Paradise Unexplored cannot be held responsible for any Cancellation or Delay of Flights due to Fog or any other technical reason. It is the Airline’s responsibility to provide the suitable connection in such conditions.
TOUR COST COMPONENT
- It is mandatory that the Client should avail the foreign exchange component of the tour cost from the Company under his Liberlized Remittance Scheme (earlier Basic Travel Quota)entitlement. You have to pay the total tour cost component in Indian Rupees by way of demand draft in favour of the Company. The Client would submit his request on a pre-printed LRS/Basic Travel Quota Form, which has to be completed and duly signed by him. The Company would forward the said form to the Authorized Dealer / Full Fledged Money Changer to release the amount of required foreign exchange to the Company for the cost of the tour as a part of the LRS/Basic Travel Quota of the Client.
- Under the present guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, all residents holding Indian passports are entitled to avail an amount not exceeding USD 2,50,000 or its equivalent per person in one calendar year for one or more private / leisure visits under the Basic Travel Quota.
Additional Terms
- These terms and conditions are in furtherance to the Package Tour - Service Contract, Booking Form and Remittance Form signed by you or representative with following understandings:

- That there shall be no dispute at any point of time if VISA so applied is rejected on any grounds whatsoever, because granting of the VISA is the sole prerogative and discretion of the Embassy concern.
- That VISA is granted upon prior verification of applicants’ profile and not upon the profile of Company. Therefore the applicant has to cooperate with concerned Embassy officials to meet all formalities required for the same.
- That this is a budget package that has been purchased for traveling in a group and by bus. There are probabilities that technical faults may occur like, flat tyers, faulty air conditioning or major/minor breakdowns, or any other unforeseen reasons for breakdown. Replacement of a bus many cause certain delays and even curtailment of the tour in the larger interest.
- That when the traveller has not opted for certain tour attraction/s then there will be no entitlement for any transfers and one has to spend time on his/her own. This means that one will be free from the group to spend time on his/her own in such a case.
- That on being away from the group one has to arrange transfer services on his/her own costs to reach next point of joining the tour group, for instance like visiting dinner venue, there will be no reimbursement of cost for transfers so arranged.
- This being a budget package, all surface ravel is by bus/coach and not by train.
- That there shall be no dispute raised by the traveller, if certain Hotel service/s is/are not available subject to certain complications like down-gradation, changing of Hotel, lack of water and interrupted electricity services. Further there shall be no dispute raised for cold food like bread, jam and juice etc. if given for breakfast or in an emergency. It should be clearly understood that breakfast in those countries is mostly cold, unlike in India. In certain cities, please be aware that some rooms may not be equipped with air conditioning, WIFI facilities, or complimentary water bottles. That traveller is required to take up matters pertaining to room allocation, maintenance, upkeep, service with the hotel management directly.
- That there shall be no dispute raised by the traveller, for production of any documents required for the verification purpose in connection with the tour.
- That no traveller is allowed to indulge in any kind of arguments with the Tour Manager/Coordinator and follow his instruction for safety and well-being. Further travelers have to strictly follow the time schedule provided by the Tour Manager/Coordinator and will have to reach 5 minutes before the stipulated time at all venues as informed during the tour. That Tour Manager/Coordinator has no power to provide with extra facilities or services.
- That even if one indulges in purchases or shopping anything upon advice of Tour Manager/Coordinator, he cannot be held liable for any deficiency as the transaction is between buyer and seller (shop keeper) during the tour. Further, on getting late in shopping, one has to bear the cost and consequences of reaching back to hotels or relevant place of meeting and there shall be no refund for the same.
- That this tour is only to be undertaken on one’s full satisfaction of his/her physical and mental fitness. In the event of any medical consequence arising during the tour, the company will not be held responsible. Traveler will himself be responsible for any breathing difficulties at high altitude visits.
- If we are unable to operate the tour due to some difficulty like not having adequate members in the group we will cancel the tour 30 days prior to departure date. Where you will get refund of amount paid less expenses incurred towards visa and other services done in good faith. You will have option to go for another tour package in consultation with our sales executive, which you can explore in such a situation.
- If any change is required in timing of services mentioned in the service voucher same can be altered at the discretion of Tour Manager/Coordinator, depending upon the circumstances. The motive is to fulfill all the obligations mentioned in the Travel Program Voucher.
PAYMENT TERMS:
At the time of Booking pay INR 50,000.
Pay INR 30,000/- per person as Booking Advance amount on holding of the tour components;
Pay INR 40,000/- Per Person before visa processing OR 45 days prior to travel date, whichever is earlier.
Balance amount or Full and Final Payment must be made at least 1 month prior to the Departure date; or one day prior to the dispatch of documents of the tour package, whichever is earlier.
Final Document Delivery will be initiated minimum 1 day after realization of full payment.
Cruise payments & any non-refundable tour component like airline ticket etc are to be paid 100% in advance in addition to above booking advance.
You may make payment subject to following guidelines:
You may make payment by CASH DEPOSIT at our office/direct cash deposit in any of our designated Bank Account/s, provided that the cash deposit amount must be less than Rs1,99,000/-. For any clarifications you may kindly call us (executive dealing with your booking) before depositing the cash amount in our Bank Account, as any excess payment will attract penalty u/s 271DA of the Income Tax Act.(NOTE - We discourage cash transactions).
You may make payment by Pay Order/Demand Draft favoring “PARADISE UNEXPLORED”
In case payment is made by Local Cheque you must deliver the same tours at least 07-10 working days prior to the delivery date. Payment by cheque is subject to, including but not limited to, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Payment should be in favor of “PARADISE UNEXPLORED”
TRAVEL PACKAGE DOCUMENTS DELIVERY
Upon receipt of the full payment for the tour package, the company will dispatch the entire tour package documents through email or courier. If you want delivery of package by hand you will have to pay Rs.1000/- per visit within Delhi/ NCR, (NOTE – Even if the house is found locked it will be deemed as a visit).

Cancellation terms - general:
Booking Amount is non-refundable in case the cancellation of tour package is done by you. Cancellation request must be given in writing/ mail only. Cancellation charges are applicable even if the tour is cancelled for any reasons whatsoever, including but not limited to medical condition or pregnancy or any unfortunate happening / incident with self, co-traveller, member of family/ relative/ friends/ relations, examination date, attending court dates etc.

- In addition to the above, in case of cancellation of the tour by either party, the amount spent by the Company on visas, medical insurance, Protector of Emigrants (POE) Clearances, including administrative charges, would be payable by the Client. If the total cancellation charges mentioned above exceed the amount paid by the Client, the balance amount would be recoverable from the Client (you).
- In case of third-party services/products, for instance EU Rail, Cruise, etc., the rules relating to cancellation and the cancellation schedule prescribed by the concerned third-party service provider would be applicable and in addition the Company shall have right to claim service and communication charges for processing the cancellation.
- If your booking is having tour components which needs guaranteed booking as per stipulated condition, you will need to make payment of 100% of the tour package cost/ tour components costs at time of booking process is undertaken. No cancellation will be allowed once booking is made even if for some reason short payment has been made. The tourist will have to make entire payment whether he or she travels or not.
- These charges are applicable for bookings made in Group Package. For FIT (Flexible Independent Travel) Booking, the Cancellation charges applicable will be different from the above-mentioned Cancellation Policy.
CANCELLATION TERMS – VISA REJECTION:

- If Rejection is notified by you to company 70 days or more prior to date of travel - INR 20000 per person and any non refundable component like cruise , domestic flights.
- If Rejection is notified by you to company between 69-31 days prior to date of travel – MinimumINR 30,000 Per Person and any non refundable component like cruise , domestic flights.
- If Rejection is notified by you to company between 30-15 days prior to date of travel - Rs.70,000/- per person and any non refundable component like cruise , domestic flights.
- If Rejection is notified by you to company between 8-14 days prior to date of travel -75% of the total package cost.
- If Rejection is notified by you to company Within 7 days prior to travel date -100% of the package cost.
Visa & insurance related
- If you are availing visa facilitation through Paradise Unexplored
- A Minimum of 15 days are required from the date of submission for processing of the each Visa. However, the consulate or the embassy may decide on the application earlier, or may take more time depending upon the application.
- We require Visa Documents from you within 03 Days of making the Booking, in such a way that the visa is processed at our end between 21-60 clear days prior to the date of travel.
Other Visa related terms:
- It is convenient and safe to have the Visa applications made to the concerned Consulates / Authorities through the Company. However, please be advised that one may still have to attend personal interview at their own cost. In some cases, telephone interviews or email enquiries may be conducted by the concerned consulates/ authorities.
- Please be advised that granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign government, and the Company shall neither be responsible in case of non-granting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damages or cost resulting therefrom.
- You should ensure that you submit relevant documents and photographs within the Time Limit as mentioned in the Documentation Check List given to you at the time of booking of the tour verbally or over the phone or sometimes through emails. Any additional information, details, and documents that you possess to support the visa applications should be made available to the Company.
- The Company would not be responsible in any way in case of any clerical error regarding names, attachment of wrong photographs, duration, type of visa (single / multiple entry) occurs in the consulate / embassy. You shall yourself be fully responsible to check the visas, their validity, details, and the correctness thereof. In the event the application for visa made by you or the Company on your behalf is rejected by the concerned Embassy or Authorities due to inadequate supply of / deficiency in documents furnished by the applicant or due to any other reason whatsoever, the Company shall not be liable or responsible for the same.
- The visa fee when prescribed includes the actual visa charge, cost of processing fees, the clerkage charges of the Company and overheads. Even if visas are rejected, the stipulated fees of the Company shall be p1ayable by you. There would be no refund, if any one is unable to travel due to the said reasons. In such cases, the non-refundable deposit paid by you shall be appropriated and no claim whatsoever shall be made for the same and the cancellation schedule shall be applied in addition as applicable.
- If the passports are required to be mailed for visas / POE to different cities, company would mail the passports by reputed courier. In case of loss or delay of the passport arising out of such transmission, company would not be responsible to compensate the holder for any loss whatsoever.
- The position in respect of cancellation of Tour by you due to non-availability of travel documents/visa would not change only by virtue of your having applied for such documents/visa through the Company.
- As visa is being applied by you, it is your responsibility to check & re-check all the documents, application being submitted by you in person. On getting the visa, please check meticulously the contents of the same. You must send copy thereof immediately to us through WhatsApp/email/ physically handing copy thereof to us or through any such means.
INSURANCE
- It is mandatory that you purchase Overseas Medical Insurance and other Insurance Policies to cover the risk to life, Documents, and property whilst on tour for the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to have adequate insurance cover in terms of risks, we cannot anticipate risks exhaustively.
- In case if the cost of the insurance is included in the tour or you want us to obtain the insurance policy for the above purpose on your behalf, such policies would be for cover for the duration of the trip and relate to persons below the age of 59 years. In case of clients above the said age and in case of clients seeking extended stay abroad, there would be additional premium payable by them. Further it would be Client’s responsibility to produce such medical reports as might be required by the insurer. It may also be noted that you would have a direct contractual relation with the insurer and the Company is only a facilitator being not even an agent.
- You are required to check the accuracy and correctness of the policies so obtained and in case of any errors or lapses, kindly report the same to the Insurance Company and get the same rectified as the company would not be responsible for the same.
- It shall be client’s duty and obligation to inform the Company in case the Client has any medical condition that may affect his ability to enjoy and pursue fully the tour arrangements and wherein the interest of the Group or any member thereof is adversely affected. The Company reserves the right to ask any Client to provide written certification of his medical fitness before departure. In the event that a medical condition has not been disclosed, the Company is not be liable to refund amount paid for the booking.
